This album includes seven songs and Space 2251: An Electronic Symphony, a seven movement electronic symphony.  Bill and I created many of the sounds you will hear on this record.  The singer goes through an emotional journey throughout the work, starting with “Unwinding.”  Feel the evolution as she goes through her emotions and eventually finds a way, shatters the glass ceiling and opens herself up to a new world.  Finally, Space 2251: An Electronic Symphony compels one to experience the sensation of floating in three dimensional space, not having the usual anchors of gravity and cardinal directions.  The piece explores the vastness of space, the vicissitudes of personal space, the possibility of superluminal travel (faster than the speed of light), the rise of life on new planets and the chaos and explosions that are part of our universe.  The only part that repeats is the Endless Space reprise, where the traveller has the sensation similar to the T.S. Eliot poem, “Little Gidding.” ““We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring, will be to arrive where we started, and know the place for the first time.”  Enjoy the sonic experience, and let the music take you to another dimension.
